The Challenge: One App, Every Three Weeks
Hello and welcome to my blog.
For a long time, coding was a big part of my life. Then, I switch to leading products and strategies. I recently resigned from my job to care for my father, who is unwell. This period has been challenging, but it has also given me something I didn't have before: time.
I though it's the perfect time to return to something I love and to finally build some of the ideas I've been carrying with me for years. Furthermore, AI makes me excited. I want to see how far I can push them and explore new ways of building.
So, here is my challenge to myself: I will build and launch one application every three weeks.
The focus is on making quick decisions and delivering a finished product.
Now, let me explain the rules I’ve set for myself. They are simple and designed to keep me moving forward without pressure.
First, the "three weeks" is a guide, not a strict deadline. Some ideas are simpler and might take less time. Others might need a few more days. I will also take breaks between projects. This challenge is exciting, but it should not break my daily life, which includes important time spent at the hospital with my dad.
Second, the goal is just to launch. It doesn't matter if the app is complex or simple. It doesn't need to make money or serve a huge market. If I think an idea is worth building, I will build it and put it out into the world.
Third, I will use any tool that helps me build faster. I will experiment with different web stacks, open-source tools, and especially the new AI coding assistants. This is a key part of the challenge for me.
For now, the challenge is only about building. If I succeed in this, my next challenge might be to learn how to market them. But for now, step one is to build (and launch).
Wish me luck ✌️
