#1: AIPrice - A Warm-Up with a Lesson
I started working on it just before I began my last job. Life changed, and the project was left unfinished. It felt right to begin my challenge by closing this old unfinished work. I thought it would be a good, warm-up project to get back into coding.
What is AIPrice? Personalized offeres is usually complex and expensive, AIPrice trys to make it simple and affordable for everyone. It analyzes visitorsโ behavior and shows them a customized offer base on their actions. You just need to drop a line of code to the website and that's all.
To build this, I used a web framework I had originally developed for another project, Dasht. The stack is familiar and comfortable:
- Backend: KoaJS
- Frontend: VueJS with NuxtJS with Bootstrap 4
- AI: Claude Code, Trae.ai
Update: The First Learning
While finishing the code was a warm-up, launching it was a cold shower. I have learned my first lesson of this challenge:
Getting people to see your work is now a lot harder than before.
I shared AIPrice in a few online communities (reddit, producthunt, HN, etc.), hoping for some initial feedback. The response was quiet. None of them were particularly welcoming. But that's okay. This challenge is about building and launching, and that is exactly what I have done.
The first three-week cycle is complete. It's time for a short break, and then on to the next idea.
